When we met our cousins for the first time, we found out ... they are Hasidic! They are so nice. We celebrated Hanukah with them and sang songs and ate gelt. So what did we learn? Disobeying our GPS was well worth it!

Day 10: Betar Illit.
When Momma C and I found out our third cousins lived in a Jewish settlement in the West Bank, we wanted to go meet them. So we headed over, passed the West Bank checkpoints for the third time in four days, and went to say hello. Our GPS didn't want to let us go there, but we did it anyway! See all the red roads on the GPS? That's all Arab territory. We drove right through it.
When we met our cousins for the first time, we found out ... they are Hasidic! They are so nice. We celebrated Hanukah with them and sang songs and ate gelt. So what did we learn? Disobeying our GPS was well worth it!

I can't believe that our cousins live around the red roads.
